Privacy Policy
What This Site Collects (And What It Doesn't)
Last updated October 19, 2026. Written in plain language on purpose, the same way this whole page argues a privacy policy should be.
This site uses two analytics tools: Google Analytics (which pages get visited, roughly how people found them, general device and browser type) and Microsoft Clarity (mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and anonymized session recordings, shown back as heatmaps). Both exist to show what's actually useful on this page and what people skip.
Yes, this site uses cookies, small files those two tools set in your browser to tell one visit apart from another. Neither tool loads until you click "Accept" in the cookie banner; if you decline, they never run. No account or login is tied to them. You can block or clear them anytime in your browser's settings without breaking anything here. (More on what a cookie actually is in the dictionary.)
No accounts, no logins, no personal profiles are built. Nothing is sold to anyone. Neither tool is used for ad targeting, and nothing here follows you to other sites the way third-party ad trackers do.
Your dark mode preference and your cookie banner choice live in your browser's local storage, not a cookie. They're never sent to a server; they just stay on your device so the setting sticks the next time you visit.
If you enter your email, whether to join the list or to unlock a download, it's added to the mailing list at Kit (formerly ConvertKit), the email service this site uses. It's only collected when you type it in yourself, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
Every font on this site is hosted on this site's own server, not loaded from Google Fonts or any other font service, so viewing a page doesn't send your IP address to a third party just to draw text.
Questions about this page or its data practices can go through creativepea.com.
This site is a free educational project, not a business collecting data for profit. This policy will stay this short because there genuinely isn't more to disclose. If that ever changes, this page changes with it.
